As a second degree mason (so very new to #Freemasonry ) I have to say, I am very impressed with the quality of the people and their stated values. I particularly like the requirement for study of religion and the study of the sciences and arts. Very few organizations are wise enough to put importance on both.
The requirements to join Freemasonry I find particularly noble:
- Must be of good moral repore
- Must study and learn the arts & sciences (Math, Astronomy, music, language, and logic are specifically listed).
- Must believe and study god or a higher power.
- Must treat his fellow man with compassion and love
