I finally completed an arcade stick run of all 3 original Splatterhouse games on stream!
What an absolute NIGHTMARE it was. Bwahahaha!
I have trouble believing ANYONE beat the original game in an actual arcade without burning through months of saved up allowance money--or getting 86'ed for a wild stream of expletives.
I plan on doing a full back-to-back-to-back trilogy run in October!

I want to do a trilogy run of Splatterhouse using an arcade stick proper if able--I know I can with the original game via MAME but if I have to use a Sega Genesis controller for the other two, so be it!

We've been streaming the legendary, the venerated, the absolute S-tier MASTERPIECE that is Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines over on Twitch and it has been an absolute BLAST.

Finally finished The Wind Waker HD on stream.
Sigh.
Graphically, aesthetically the game has aged extremely well--it also handles emulated upscaling IMMACULATELY.
That being said, the overall controls and tedium of the game's traveling coupled with entire sections added to pad the length of the game have mostly aged poorly.
It didn't make for an outstanding streaming experience and by the end I was just happy for it to be over.

Excited to get back to a SOLID streaming (and training) schedule this coming week.
While I enjoyed the downtime for Thanksgiving week, I greatly prefer having a strictly adhered to schedule/structure.
... I also just really want to play more Wind Waker some more!

I never thought I'd get THIS far being some absolute CLOWN SHOES DOOFUS playing games... poorly... while trying to make people smile or laugh when maybe life has decided that wouldn't be too easy for them.
I'm excited for 2023 to say the least. I hope my small, humble, fun-loving little community continues to grow so I can put even more into streams and absurd YouTube content :ablobcatattention:

Despite my absolute STANK FACE in this little video snippet, the overall sound design/soundtrack for Shadow Man Remastered is EXCEPTIONALLY eerie and atmospheric--and sometimes it's just downright SCARY, like you hear in this clip 😅
I HIGHLY recommend checking it out if you were a fan of it back in the Before Time, The Long Long Ago or even for a first playthrough as it has aged VERY well.
I can't stop capitalizing ENTIRE words for DRAMATIC effect.

Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain was fun but now it is time to move on to the sequel, Soul Reaver! A personal favorite game that I played exclusively on the PS1 as a kid.
I'll be playing the unofficial HD Remaster that utilizes the Dreamcast version via the Flycast emulator with and HD texture pack.
This should be a great time!

I think the all but forgotten franchise of the Legacy of Kain deserves some much needed TLC.
(And I mean a high quality SINGLE PLAYER romp in this case 😅 )
