For those who only read the headlines, here’s a TL;DR: No. There is no such thing as decent tech baron, that’s an oxymoron.

Der Quartz-Artikel erklärt gut, warum besonders für Menschen in armen Ländern Facebook und Internet dasselbe sind: #ZeroRating.

Als ich mein erstes Handy mit Webbrowser bekam (ein Klapphandy), war die einzige Website, die ich besuchen konnte, 0.facebook.com, weil das ohne Datentarif funktionierte. Eine klare Vernetzung der #Netzneutralität.

Seit dem 1. Januar ist #Netzneutralität in der Schweiz gesetzlich vorgeschrieben. #ZeroRating wurde damit unzulässig. Nach Anzeigen der Digitalen Gesellschaft verschwanden dann auch alle widerrechtlichen Angebote – bis auf eines.
