Anyone need service parts for an #Xserve G5, Xserve Xeon (early 2009), or #XRAID?

I have a set of new, in box parts* including the logic board, fan array, and power supply for each Xserve, plus the controller and cooling modules for the XRAID.

I’m willing to let these go for the cost of shipping from western Canada.

* Items are unused, in the original packaging, but everything has been opened for inspection at some point.

Can I just get excited about the most stupid #ClassicMac thing I've done in a while?

Behold, my 2008 #Apple #Xserve 2,1 running OS X Ventura 13.3.x, with an RX480 connected via an eGPU plugged into a Titan Ridge Thunderbolt Card?

I had to modify my own .aml file and tweak the Open Core Legacy patcher to get things to work...

I am very happy.

Using #NetBoot and #DeployStudio to erase and decommission 2012 #iMacs — and I'm reminded of what a reliable and pleasant experience it is.

Once these are all gone this lone #Xserve will be shown the same fate. 🫡 #MacAdmin
