Today was supposed to be a rainy day, but we tried our luck going in the mountains nearby. We went to visit the "Quercia di Gosita", a 300 years old oak which died in 2005, most likely because of some fungal attack at its roots. The place was cloudy and cold, but very suggestive. You can still feel the powerful presence of this tree, very close to the small town of Gosita.

Since it rained all night and then all day, I went through the pictures I have taken last week to feel a little bit of warmth. Here you can see my city from above: it looks almost beautiful, from the right distance.

Took a pretty long hike today, 17km. The seaside and the trails surrounding it are stunning without tourists around. Yeah, obviously I hate tourists. I've started even hating myself as a tourist, so I'm always trying to live places and not just to visit them.
Here we were really close to Cinque Terre: luckily these places are not that famous so you can still enjoy silence and nature.
And now I'm so tired.
