Although side-effects aren't always a problem they can be awful or even dangerous (less so) with a #GLP1 #receptoragonist
I'm sure it's useful but are we creating future problems?
I also wonder if #BigPharma has stopped manufacturing #diabetic #medication in favour of the more #profitable #weightloss industry. #Victoza from #NovoNordisk hasn't been available for months in the #UK causing serious problems for those with #diabetes

This is interesting because this seems to fall in line with my weight loss/appetite modulation only lasting maybe 2 to 3 years.
But over a decade on this medication for it’s prescribed purpose…you know, the diabetes…management continues to be good with the latest version of these, Mounjaro. Even at max dose, my appetite is “normal”.

If I’m unable to get a GLP-1 RA and have to go off of it as a result, it’ll be the first time in over a decade of taking this drug class.
Interesting thought: How long will I have to be off of it to require titration from the start again?
Starting a GLP-1 RA is rough but I haven’t had those issues in quite a longtime. Going on 15mg Mounjaro was the first time I had any real impacts in a long time, but nowhwere near like starting Victoza.

I am going to cough up the $172 to pay for #Sentri so I may bypass that line. Anyway I highly recommend Farmacia La Mas Baratas managed by Jorge Resendez. I switched from #Victoza daily injectable 6ml to #Rybelsus daily pill 14mg. Both seem equally effective though Victoza cost less by half. In Feb I was 183lbs now I am 159lbs
