A lot of #diabetes apps try to track everything.
Glu Sight is built around a simpler idea: log the core data you care about, review patterns, and keep the daily workflow light.

Diabetes management, without the noise.
Track glucose, insulin, and medications.
See patterns in plain language.
Share reports when it matters.Built for real daily use.
-
Diabetes tracking app Glu Sight 2.8.1 is out.
Medication tracking refined, with deeper App Intents integration, better Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight support.
-
Glu Sight 2.8.0 is live, and a lot of it is about bringing medications into the same flow as glucose and insulin. I put together a short write-up on what it does and the thinking behind it.
https://about.glusight.app/release-notes -
RE: https://iosdev.space/@slow_brewed/116362050366053701
Nothing beats building apps that you use yourself. Since I integrated medication and adherence into Glu Sight, even when I am having an overly busy day, I still get through all my oral medications because of the nudges. 💙
-
Glu Sight's new update is out!
You can now log tablets, capsules, and other medications alongside glucose and insulin, all with a clear view of adherence on the home screen.
With this release, you to stay on top of your full diabetes management regimen.
-
Tablets, capsules, and more, now in @glusightapp .
Track medications alongside glucose and insulin, with a full view of adherence.
Log doses, set reminders, and see your full day in one app: https://about.glusight.app -
@glusightapp is getting medication tracking.
Log tablets, capsules, and your full diabetes regimen alongside glucose and insulin.
Set reminders, track adherence, and see your full day in one place.Coming next week in v2.8.0.
-
Honestly didn’t expect to feel this good about a screenshot of health data.
97% time in range over the last 2 weeks. For context, the clinical target for diabetes is 70%. So yeah, pretty happy right now.
@glusightapp breaks down the numbers so the patterns finally make sense.
-
Your glucose data has been trying to tell you something.
Glu Sight finally translates it.
-
I built a diabetes management app: everything for today, in one place.
Average glucose, time in range, insulin, and trends, without switching screens.
-
Don’t guess.
Have your glucose readings been in range today?
One tap shows your target range and today’s highs and lows.
-
Glu Sight update:
• insulin reminders now show how late a dose is (Lock Screen / Dynamic Island)
• clearer progress + cleaner layout
• guided Apple Health setup
• improved localizationUpdate available now.
-
Setup in less than 60s.
Simple onboarding.
Personalized diabetes tracking.
@glusightapp helps you stay consistent with your glucose routine from day one. -
We’ve just submitted a new glusightapp update.
This one focuses on smoothing out everyday friction:
→ More stable onboarding with fewer edge cases
→ No more form resets when the keyboard dismisses
→ Cleaner, more reliable Settings and Support navigationUnder the hood, we’ve also hardened HealthKit sync and first-run reliability.
Rolling out soon.
-
OK, this is cool stuff. This morning, glusightapp pointed something out: I tend to run low more often between 4–6pm.
It’s obvious in hindsight, but seeing it clearly called out changed how I’m planning that part of my day.
That’s the whole point of the insights engine I built in: actionable information I can use right away.
The app: apple.co/3GZIsm1
-
Glu Sight has evolved a lot over the last few releases.
Highlights:
– Glucose trends over 7–90 days (avg, TIR, variability)
– Glucose-only mode if you don’t use insulin, the UI adapts
– Much better Apple Health sync (setup, background updates, gaps)
– Improved onboarding
– German localization 🇩🇪Built by someone using it daily to manage diabetes.

I’ve shipped a new Trends feature in Glu Sight.
Instead of single numbers, it shows how your glucose is actually moving over time, across multiple horizons, with clear direction and deltas.
It’s designed to be understandable at a glance, without needing to be an expert.
-
Glu Sight v2.5.0 is finally out.
This one adds proper trends, new insight cards, and a glucose-first mode where the UI adapts if you don’t use insulin.
If you’re using the app, it’s a meaningful update.
https://apple.co/3GZIsm1 -
I’ve been working on this Trends feature for Glu Sight for a while.
Instead of a single average, it shows how your glucose is moving over time across 7, 14, 30, and 90 days, with clear deltas and lightweight context.
The goal is simple — answering at a glance: is this getting better, worse, or staying stable?
Still iterating, and hoping to release soon.
-
Shipped based on real user feedback: @glusightapp now adapts to your therapy.
Don’t use insulin? Disable insulin tracking and the UI adjusts automatically, keeping the experience focused on glucose.
Live now: apple.co/3GZIsm1
-
Once again I am saved by dumb luck.
Or, I guess, #T2D. @newsfeed https://zeroes.ca/@newsfeed/115980455788352824 -
I built @glusightapp to manage my diabetes without drowning in numbers.
It turns raw glucose and insulin data into patterns and signals I can actually use.The goal is clarity and actionable feedback.
If you’re curious: https://apple.co/3GZIsm1
-
This is one of those moments where I’m really glad I built @glusight.app.
It’s 9 PM and seeing “96% within target” tells me instantly how well I managed today.
Zero guessing or mental math. As someone managing diabetes, this has been really important. And some big news: Hallo Deutschland! 🇩🇪 Glu Sight is now fully available in German.
If you’re curious and managing diabetes, give it a try: https://apple.co/3GZIsm1
-
It’s been two years, and @glusightapp is finally getting a fresh coat of paint.
Just because it’s a serious app doesn’t mean it can’t be fun to use.And if the original look feels like home, the classic colors will still be there in Themes.
-
This is our biggest update yet for Glu Sight, a privacy-first diabetes app, focused on clarity & ease of use.
Introducing Insights, a new way to understand your diabetes data.
Patterns are surfaced, so you don’t have to guess what your numbers mean.
-
Next Glu Sight update in progress.
A diabetes tracking app focused on clarity and reliability.
Tightening the experience end to end.
-
Working on improved medical report exports for @glusightapp .
Cleaner layout, clearer summaries, and easier sharing with your diabetes healthcare providers.Coming in the next update.

I’ve already gotten my c-peptide result back.
It’s still low normal. But slightly higher than last year.
My #Mounjaro dose last time was 7.5mg. This time I’m on 15mg. #GLP1 and #GIP work to stimulate insulin secretion. And that’s all I got.
I’m skipping the #diabetes autoimmune panel. Insurance isn’t going to cover the $400 cost and it won’t change anything.
For now, everything just keeps going.
No #A1c yet. I’m expecting an increase, unfortunately.

I managed to find a starter kit for Accu-Chek Instant to compare with. The kit, with 100 strips, is $50. Buying more strips is around 27 cents per strip. So it's cheaper than the Guide setup, but still more expensive than the ReliOn setup by a lot.
Tempted to buy it and do more comparisons and testing.

Accu-Chek Guide Me starter kit costs around $60 to $90. Test strips are 40 to 50 cents per strip.
ReliOn Platinum is a rebranded Accu-Chek meter (Instant?) with Accu-Chek test strips (also Instant?). Starter kit is less than $20 and test strips are 18 cents per strip.
If you're not sure about ReliOn's reliability, but trust Accu-Chek, this is a good cheap option.

I think it's also important to note that a lot of issues that we didn't think were related to the gut we are now finding directly connected to the microbiome and that these issues likely extend much further than conditions like #IBS or #SIBO.
Metabolic conditions ie #T2D, #inflmmation, #immune function, and #inflammation are all included in this.

I’m grateful to have incrementally learned preventive measures against the ulcers, and relieved at the spontaneous/concomitant cessation of the other symptoms.
I’m grateful that the diagnoses of #T2D and chronic idiopathic axonal polyneuropathy were not delayed longer than 4 decades, and were made before precipitation by some crippling or (more immediately) life-threatening catastrophe.
