Es war mal wieder Zeit fürs "unter den Fingernägeln reinigen" vom #Velogical #Velospeeder #Reibradantrieb. Das rechte Reibrad hatte bei bestimmten Geschwindigkeiten doch wieder recht kräftig gerattert. Keine Ahnung, wie's der Dreck immer wieder schafft, unter den Gummibelag des Reibrades zu kriechen.

Et bien, monter une dynamo #Velogical sur un Brompton, ça se mérite. La doc est nulle. J’ai découvert seul comment gérer la « désactivation » physique, comment et où la monter, enfin… Un peu galère.

Bon, j’ai commencé à regarder la notice d’installation de la dynamo #velogical, et c’est pas limpide. Si vous avez des conseils, je suis preneur.
Je vais peut-être aller chercher des vidéos. Il paraît qu’on trouve tout sur yt… -

Did a #BicycleTour on the #Brompton from #Locarno up the #Centovalli to the Swiss-Italian border. 44.5km overall distance and about 500m difference in altitude. (Actually the #Garmin GPS said 448m up and 517m down despite start and end were at the same spot. 🙄)
For some reason after the rainy bicycle tour up half the Maggia valley the day before, my #Velogical #Velospeeder e-assist no more wanted to work (maybe contact issues, need to check) so I'm sure this was all "acoustic" muscle power. 😇

But the #Velogical #Velospeeder I have on my Brompton has one disadvantage when its rainy outside: It's a friction wheel e-assist pressing tiny rubber wheels on both sides of the rim (similar to rim brakes). So on wet days at steep inclines it occasionally starts spinning.

Je pense que je vais me laisser tenter par une dynamo #Velogical pour le #Brompton. Va falloir changer le support avant, et trouver le bon feu avant à monter...

I used the occasion to try out the newly added #Velogical #Velospeeder e-assist on my #Brompton (https://www.velogical-engineering.com/fahrraeder/brompton-tuning/) and cycled up the 136m elevation to the #ErpelerLey. Caused a convenient heart rate. Not too much, but clearly not nothing. And a nice breeze downwards. 😎 #sunset

She offered me a used MountainDrive but we had to cancel the latter due to some suspected defect on the used part and the manufacturer being unreachable for repair assistance due to currently moving. It's postponed at least until they finished moving. Luckily I don't live far from them -- but I had no luck in contacting them either. Contacted Juliane only afterwards.
