  1. For my tool-choice article, I came up with an #orgmode template to support collecting #requirements and solutions with their evaluation.

This might be handy to some of you.

  2. RE: graz.social/@publicvoit/116167

Yet another neat feature of my #orgmode #lazyblorg #staticwebsitegenerator: text snippets you can re-use all over your articles. ✂️

From in-line words to whole paragraphs or headings:

My first use-case are the disclaimer texts on top of each #UOMF article that refers to the series main page: karl-voit.at/2019/09/25/using-

The more I add smart little helpers like that, the more I am happy to have started writing my own tool in the first place: perfect adaption to my personal use-cases.

  3. #Emacs #UOMF: Linking Headings
    karl-voit.at/2019/11/16/UOMF-L

I found an interesting link I added: if you're using a different method (using out of the box functionality) to link #orgmode headings, you might need to use this really tedious repair mechanism because links get broken all the time. 😲

Well, I'm glad I have found my way around that already, not having broken links in the first place. 🙄

  4. Of course, if you do have long-time plans for your personal #knowledgemanagement, you should not use proprietary tools like #Obsidian, #OneNote, #Evernote and alike.

You also should think of switching to a much better (learnability, portability/compatibility, typobility, logic, featureset) markup syntax like #orgdown which is used in #Emacs #Orgmode (among other tools).

But if you start with Org-mode, you need to know the right way of doing it, as so many web pages recommend. Here's my take:

A specific blog post about the #lockin effects of Obsidian and Co (despite using some tool-specific flavor of MD) is in the making. (Please don't start a religious discussion here.)

If you do have to extend your recurring meetings for the upcoming year, you might want to take a look at this method using clones instead of recurring time-stamps.

Thanks @SpaceCadet for the reminder. 👍

  7. #UOMF: Logging With #Emacs #OrgMode karl-voit.at/2020/01/01/append

appendorgheading is really useful in my #PIM workflows - you should read about it so that you may use it too for logging into org, generating #Orgdown content and so forth.

  8. I'll join the #bcg22 BarCamp #Graz tomorrow.

I have prepared something. If you want, I can do a session on that:
