Mikä Toinen Kerros?

Toinen Kerros on yhteisölähtöinen tila äänitaiteelle ja kokeelliselle musiikille Vallilassa, Helsingissä.

Tavoitteenamme on tehdä Toisesta Kerroksesta paikka yhteisöllisyyden rakentamiselle, yhteiskuraatiolle ja yhteisöllisille käytännöille. Tila on epäkaupallinen ja antiautoritaarinen.

Toinen Kerros pyrkii siis olemaan jotain muuta kuin vain paikka keikoille: matalan kynnyksen yhteisölähtöinen tila.

What is Toinen Kerros?

Toinen Kerros is a community-driven space for sonic art & experimental music in Helsinki.

We aim to make TK a place for community building, co-curation & commoning practices. Non-commercial, non-authoritarian.

So not just a place for gigs, but a low-threshold, community-driven space.
That means the decisions, tasks, and resources are shared within the sonic arts community at large.
