Terranigma was released 30 years ago on 20th October 1995 for the Super NES in Japan. It would be released in Europe only more than a year later, and never in North America where the Nintendo 64 had already been launched at that time.

I just beat Terranigma. God, what a beautiful game. Truly worthy of the original Japanese title "Creation of Heaven and Earth."
I became so attached to Crysta 🥺
Fuck the Elder and Elon Beruga Musk.
The hardest fight by far was the infamous martyrer of Anglicans: Bloody Mary.
Meliln was nice.

I missed it when I couldn't talk to animals anymore.

Like Soul Blazer, reincarnation is a constant feature of that world, even when Christianity was confirmed to be in the world.
The time on the surface confused me. A medieval knight woman got on a boat via Columbus to ride to America, catching a plane to a robot factory to destroy a computer-ran airship.

#Terranigma isn't going to replace #ChronoTrigger as my most favorite game ever.
much too slow story - enemies don't feel dangerous, story sounds okay but develops too slow
I don't even feel like like the different combat is nearly the worst problem - would have expected that (love tripple-tech, hate real time combat like zelda)
