#1 Reaction Videos Of Scary Movie 3 – After enjoying the original Scary Movie of 2000, I saw its 2001 sequel and left the cinema disappointed. Two years later, I saw Scary Movie 3 and it was an indeed an improvement over Scary Movie 2. I played it on the PlayStation but I never got to finish it. I'm sure I'm not the first person to found this trick but in Xenogears you can indefinitely delay the start of a random encounter by ejecting the disc.

When the game decides to throw a random encounter at you, it loads it in the background and you can still move around (but no other actions).

If you eject the disc, it will never finish loading. You still need to insert it back eventually and fight that encounter but you can limit it to just one before an action or map change.

Xenogears is the game that deserves and would benefit the most to have a remake.

Making disc 2 a proper adventure and fixing the combat so that not most aspects simply don't matter would be awesome.

Thinking about it, Xenogears is probably the first and only "bad" game that I like.

If it weren't for the setting and plot elements that happen to include everything that I find super cool, my general opinion of this game wouldn't be nearly as positive.

Still, when I look up the development of this game it's really impressive that the game even turned out the way it is now.

I really have to compliment Xenogears' whole final boss sequence. It's really fun.

Like, I think it's better than Xenoblade 2's and 3's final boss fights.

And fuel management during it is also good so that one moment alone beats Xenoblade X's whole fuel management (which pretty much doesn't really exist)

Finished Xenogears!

I absolutely loved the story and especially the setting. Like Xenoblade X, the setting and lore contains a lot of stuff I love in stories.

The combat however... Yeah, it's no secret that it's not good. At best boring at worst annoying.
Like the vast majority of fights (both normal and boss fights) are just you spamming the same combo. And even the few exceptions are still nothing special except for 2 cool gameplay moments.

I give it a B-Tier.

TIL that this track is called 覚醒 (kakusei - "awakening") in Japanese.

Personally I find Skell and Gear designs cooler than Gundams. I think it's because Gundams (at least the main Gundam) look too humanoid and not fantastical enough.

Glad I got to experience Xenogears on my own terms despite already knowing a lot about it. There's so many things in it and other Xeno games that despite something being spoiled, it can often not really matter with all the other details that aren't spoiled.
