Ich habe gerade mein #anbernic RG DS bekommen, und heute haben sie den "Nachfolger" vorgestellt.
Pro: größere Bildschirme, höhere Auflösung, ganzzahlige Skalierung von NDS-Inhalten, Scheide für Stylus eingebaut, besserer Sound, besseres Scharnier
Contra: größeres Gerät, keine ganzzahlige Skalierung der meisten anderen Inhalte, Stylus ist so ein unpraktisches Gummiding, drittel Arbeitsspeicher, kein eMMC, nur noch 1 Schiebepad
Sieht so aus, als würden die Pros und die Contras sich aufwiegen.

To be honest, I’ve never owned a Game Boy. The PSP has always been more popular in our country. However, a few times in my life I’ve seen this strange clamshell device in the hands of my peers. As I got older, I tried playing games on that platform, but on my phone it looked… not great. On a computer screen—even worse.
But now I have this little cutie called the Anbernic RG SP. The screen is just amazing.

Ungewohnte Support-Erfahrung bei #Anbernic: Die Runter-Taste am D-Pad macht beim Berühren ein Kontaktgeräusch. Es war also Abstand da zwischen dem Oberteil und dem Innenteil des D-Pads. Ich war außerhalb des Austauschzeitraums. Anbernic reagierte sofort, sendete ein Video mit einer Zerlegungsanleitung. Überraschenderweise waren es nur acht Schrauben. Man kann so selbst die Sticks in wenigen Minuten tauschen. Da alles fein aussieht bekomme ich nun, kostenlos, ein neues D-Pad.

Muos tested this morning on my #anbernic rg28xx: pretty cool but full of bugs, out of the box and with less core in retroarch than expected.
Smoother on N64 emulation but if you can't use the controler. And why putting a portmaster app if the device has no wifi.So, back to my usual stock OS

My replacement #RetroidPocket5 comes today!
I need to install #Linux on it (probably #Rocknix) and see how the #N64 and #segaSaturn compatibility is. My #Rockchip powered #Anbernic #RGArc doesn't have great #emulation support for a lot of #games, and the reason I bought the #Retroid was in hopes that the #Snapdragon GPU would have better compatibility
If it performs the same then I may just resell it because the problems I had with my last unit have not inspired me with confidence

I downloaded the #RockNix image for my #RGArc, and flashed it to an SD Card with Balena Etcher. It boots right up! I managed to setup the WiFi and pull down the latest update too, so it's already functioning better than the stock #Anbernic OS!
It can't find any of the #Roms, even on the stock SD card, but it wouldn't be #Linux if there wasn't something to fix!
