Die Flucht über das Mittelmeer zählt zu den gefährlichsten Migrationsrouten weltweit – besonders für Frauen und Mädchen. Viele von ihnen sind bereits vor oder während der Flucht massiver Gewalt ausgesetzt und geraten auf See in akute Lebensgefahr.
Die zivile Seenotrettung von SOS Humanity versucht, genau dort einzugreifen: retten, versorgen, begleiten, und hinsehen, wo sonst nur wenige wirklich hinschauen wollen.
