When we were asked to evacuate our home and leave, my family and I believed it would only be for a short time and that we would return soon. So we left quickly, afraid of the planes above us. We only took a small bag with a few clothes and left everything else behind — our furniture, our beds, and all the memories in our home.
My biggest dream was to return to my house and to the memories I shared with my husband. But the shock was devastating when I received the news that our home had been completely destroyed and reduced to rubble.
Since that day, my children and I have been living in a tent with almost no basic necessities. Life is extremely difficult, and our only dream now is to live again in a home with walls that can protect us.
I am a mother responsible for my children after their father passed away, and I am trying my best to give them a dignified life, but I cannot do this alone.
Please stand with us, support us, or share my campaign so we can rebuild a small part of our life and provide some basic furniture to live with dignity.
