As a family of 8, we need at least $100 every day just to live with dignity. $50 provides one meal for the day, while the other $50 goes toward water, firewood, and a little fruit.

Imagine having none of these things, while every day brings more responsibilities, debts, medical needs, and school fees for five of my children. We also have to pay around $40 every week for electricity because of the soaring cost of fuel.

Here in Gaza, everything is beyond our reach. We have lost everything, our source of income is gone, and all we have left is your kindness.

I’m deeply heartbroken tonight, and I can’t sleep. I keep thinking about one painful question: What will I feed my children tomorrow?

Our money is completely gone. I have nothing left, and the hardest part is hearing my children ask, “When will you buy us clothes?” Their innocent questions break my heart because I don’t know what to tell them.

A principled stand

Russian MMA legend Khabib Nurmagomedov has spoken openly about the personal financial cost of supporting Palestine.

He revealed that some international companies ended their business partnerships with him and others because of their public support for the Palestinian people. Yet his message remains clear: human lives are worth more than money, and staying silent in the face of suffering is never an option.

Khabib has continued to stand with Palestine and share updates highlighting the immense destruction and human suffering in Gaza.

When silence becomes complicity

A rabbi has made shocking remarks threatening the downfall of major countries if they stop supporting Israel—as if domination and submission are acceptable principles.

The danger is not only in these statements, but in the continued silence of the world while Gaza suffers. When the world witnesses killing, destruction and starvation and chooses not to act, that silence gives such rhetoric room to grow.

Gaza does not need the world's silence. It needs a clear moral stance: Palestinian lives are not worth less, and support for power can never justify injustice.

A Voice for Justice 🇵🇸

U.S. Major Nathan McCormack was reportedly removed from his position at the Pentagon after making statements in which he described Israel as a “death cult” and “our worst ally,” while accusing the U.S. government of enabling what he called its “criminality.”

Beyond the controversy itself, this case raises a profound question: Can those serving within the military speak openly when their conscience leads them to challenge foreign policy?

I deeply respect everyone who has the courage to stand with truth, justice, and humanity—even when doing so comes at a personal cost. ❤️

A grief beyond what the heart can bear… 💔🇵🇸

Ahmed Al-Siqili left Gaza before the war in search of work. After three years away, he returned to a displacement tent in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, carrying the unbearable pain of losing six of his children.

During the war, his wife, Hayat, fled Shuja’iyya with their seven children. In December 2023, they became trapped under bombardment inside a home sheltering around 130 people.

Hayat remained buried beneath the rubble for hours, holding her two-month-old baby, Eileen. She could hear her crying, but she could not move or rescue her. Eileen was not injured—she suffocated after her mouth filled with dust.

Six children were killed: Muhannad, 16; Mohammed, 14; twins Kinan and Rayan, and their sister Layan, all 8; and baby Eileen, who was only two months old.

Ahmed learned of his children’s deaths while he was in the West Bank. He could not see them, say goodbye, or attend their funerals.

“The tragedy was unbearable. I lost six children at once, and the worst part was that I wasn’t there. I couldn’t see them or say goodbye.”

After being detained and subjected to abuse in Qalqilya, Ahmed was transferred to Gaza. He found his wife and their daughter Rozan living in a displacement tent, while his six children remained only in six death certificates.

Speaking about little Eileen, he says:

“I held her for one day, then I went back to work without having enough time with her. I never knew it would be the last time I would see her.”

This is a grief beyond words, a pain no parent should ever have to endure.
