  1. Ich mit meiner Erkältung diese Woche so schlapp und weich, ich finde die finale Staffel von »#StarTrekDisco« richtig wohlfühl-knuffig, so wie sich alle lieb haben und verstehen;
    und ich hab mit »#KillingEve« begonnen, was echt doll, aber mir derzeit zu ›gruselig‹ ist, um mehr als eine Folge am Tag zu verkraften.

  3. Edit: Apparently this was click bait and I fell for it.

    Apologies everyone

    uhm I didn't watch it (because it wasn't my kind of humour) but this article claims that Star Trek Lower Decks completely De-canonized all of Star Trek Discovery.

    Uhm .. what !?

    Is that.. official, or was it just a poorly executed 'comedy bit'

  4. Man i love #StrangeNewWorlds. Dare I say it? Better than #starTrekDisco
    😬
    Shame paramount+ is so shit.

  5. Rereading a thread that I made about #StarTrekDisco , I think I realized something: Now that non-binary people actually exist, Star Trek is afraid to use them as a metaphor.

    Star Trek has twice done something with aliens society have all or some of them fall outside of the binary gender, one with the alien species that had evolved past gender or something on Next Gen, and the other with the third sex on Enterprise.

    Both those characters, at least the important ones, were played by women, not non-binary people, which would have not really been possible at the time. And they weren't actually metaphors for non-binary people, they were metaphors for homosexuality... mostly.

    Although that metaphor was seriously undercut by having two women play them and having two men attracted to them, which Jonathan Frakes, one of the men in question, literally called out about his episode, pointing out that the 'non-gendered' person he was attracted to should have been played by a man to actually make an impact.

    Cont...

  6. I thought I was emotionally prepared for next week and the finale but.. I'm really, very much - not ?

  7. CW: Star Trek Discovery 5x6 spoilers

    So, a few thoughts about the gender things they did in the most recent episode of #StarTrekDisco, and why I really didn't like it that much. Spoilers for episode 5 season 6

  8. Great season premiere for #StarTrekDiscovery and love that they chose the particular dangling thread from TNG that they did for the final season’s big mystery

    It’s going to be a blast, but now more than ever I never want it to end
