I want to find other #trekkies to nerd out with on #irc or something. #roleplay would be swell, but any community would be great. Anything is better than just standing around DS9 in STO hoping someone will say hi. Hello, #trekkies I need your assistance! I've never watched the series' and feel the need to but don't know if there's a "correct" or "best" order or place to start.
I love sci-fi, I'm already basically sold on the premise I just need a shove in the right direction.

Neither #Musk nor #Hegseth seemed to recall that the “Arsenal of Freedom” phrase—at least in the context of Star Trek—is also the title of a 1988 episode of Star Trek: TNG. That episode depicts an AI-powered #weapons system, & its automated salesman, which destroys an entire #civilization & eventually threatens the crew of the USS Enterprise. (Some #Trekkies made the connection.)
