  1. First was an informative conversation with Bruno Van den Bosch and @BostoenFriso analyzing the (lack of) European protectionism in #antitrust at #StanfordCodeX. There's a lot in here about how EU antitrust penalties function, along with some surprising nuggets about fine disclosure youtube.com/watch?v=ggHQHCII0v (2/11)

  2. Next was a great examination of the current state of computational #antitrust within antitrust agences with Teodora Groza and Thibault Schrepel at #StanfordCodeX. This is the second annual report from the group, and the strides being made by different antitrust agencies around the world was fascinating. Highly recommend youtube.com/watch?v=TVo0SDQuH5 (7/8)

  3. First was a nice discussion with Isabella Lorenzoni and Herwig Hofmann on automating competition #law enforcement at #StanfordCodeX. While this is done to a certain degree today, there's the potential for much more which could be helpful for regulators and companies youtube.com/watch?v=IbvaiNjvVA (2/7)

  4. Next was an exciting discussion with Thibault Schrepel on #antitrust APIs at #StanfordCodeX. Thibault presents a compelling case for why it makes sense to computationally define law in many cases, and discusses how providing APIs into the law can aid antitrust practice and enforcement lnkd.in/gVn6kSVQ (7/9) #law

  5. Next was an excellent panel on important research topics in computational antitrust (there are a lot!) with Thibault Schrepel, Teodora Groza, Björn ten Seldam, Aleksandra Wierzbicka, Kirill Ryabtsev, Thaiane Abreu, and Alexandru Șotropa at #StanfordCodex's Computational #Antitrust conference. It's almost impossible to succinctly summarize the variety of topics covered, highly recommend youtube.com/watch?v=VNbFYOnOaT (3/12)

  6. Next was a great panel on the future of computational antitrust with Daniel Crane, Michal Gal, William Kovacic, Jonathan Askin, and Aleksandra Wierzbicka at #StanfordCodex Computational #Antitrust conference. The discussion gets into some meaty points around why computational antitrust is important and how to increase uptake by #regulators. Highly recommend youtube.com/watch?v=IA9xLJZDtZ (3/7)

  7. Next was an interesting talk on the potential of #Web3 to weaken #platform power by @skominers at #StanfordCodeX's Computational #Antitrust Conference. Other work has made me somewhat skeptical of this claim, but it's still intriguing to think about these possibilities youtube.com/watch?v=6qWXV2sYH- (3/11)

  8. Next was a fantastic talk by @marklemley on measuring #board interlocks at #StanfordCodeX's Computational #Antitrust conference. Mapping and analyzing board interlock #networks from publicly company #data seems like a no-brainer for regulators, especially given that much of this activity is illegal! Highly recommend youtube.com/watch?v=kRuOmWbnNp (4/9)

  9. Next was a nice roundtable with different #antitrust agencies' detailing current applications of computational antitrust at the #StanfordCodeX Computational Antitrust Conference with David Dorrell, Romana Skácelová, Daniel Westrik, Gerard Gimenez, and Teodora Groza. Lots of variance in the tools being deployed, and I'm looking forward to seeing how these different multinational agencies collaborate in the future youtube.com/watch?v=HPEqIPay3P (3/12) #regulation #law

  10. Next was a number of rapid-fire #startup presentations at #StanfordCodeX. The presentation by Alesia Ash, Erin Weaver, and Tate Richardson on legal #tech innovation for #justice was particularly good youtube.com/watch?v=z3tjAk0RUa (5/12)

  11. Next was a fantastic slate of talks on computational #antitrust solutions (M&A #simulations, #NLP, etc.) at #StanfordCodeX's Computational Antitrust Conference by Siying (Kate) Cao, Victoriia Noskova, Oliver Budzinski, Eleanor Fox, Doug Melamed, and Teodora Groza. Highly recommend youtube.com/watch?v=Wfaj8DfCns (3/12)

  12. First up was a lightning round review of how practitioners can get started in computational #antitrust with Yann Guthmann, Thibault Schrepel, Alex Sotropa, and Thaiane Abreu at #StanfordCodeX's Computational Antitrust Conference. Love to see #NetworkAnalysis make an appearance! youtube.com/watch?v=gs07BGOCbC (2/12)

  13. Last was a presentation by Manish Agnihotri on his #legal #analytics #startup #Agni at #StanfordCodeX. When #NLP is applied to corporate #law it can help quickly summarize vast, often opaque contracts, although I'd like to see more #data about blind spots in products like this particularly when developed by insular teams youtube.com/watch?v=ThlW07Vp8t (6/6)

  14. Next was a fantastic panel on algorithmic cabal and #antitrust detection at the #StanfordCodeX Computational Antitrust conference with Joseph Harrington, Mary-Anne Williams, Mariah Kirubi, and Daniel Linna. This work is absolutely fascinating and the next frontier in #management, #PeopleAnalytics, and #regulation. Also I got to ask a question during the Q&A! Highly recommend youtube.com/watch?v=QAKezlG4w7 (4/6)
