@fussballinguist Nice. Bisher hatte ich dafür #Sioyek (https://github.com/ahrm/sioyek) als Tool; aber mag das schon immer in #JabRef einbauen. Vermutlich sollten wir den Teil von Zotero wrappen 😅

I really wish there was a keyboard-driven #PDF viewer like #Zathura, #MuPDF, or #SioYek that let you fill out forms and annotate #PDFs.

That would be da bomb.

I just discovered #sioyek, a very fast and simple cross-platform PDF viewer that is designed around reading books or scientific papers. I auto-reloads when the file changes, so is well-suited for a #latexmk workflow. Reloading is quasi-instant and also doesn't redraw everything with this dreaded flicker like many other viewers do (looking at you #evince 😑). Right-clicking on an internal link a opens a real, scrollable subwindow preview, nice! 👍

I've finished configuring #Sioyek PDF reader. It's so powerful. I can finally replace #Zathura, which does not support highlighting and documents with mixed page orientation.

I have spent all the day on #hyprland learning keybindings to #Neovim, #Sioyek, #lazyvim and #Yazı

It's been a lot, but it has been great hahaha

I loved zathura but it's now sioyek's time.
Focused on textbooks and research papers, it brings some very interesting features that may even appeal to people who are simply looking for a way to make their PDF navigation more efficient.

@uncomfyhalomacro I've installed #sioyek some time ago, ran it twice or so and returned to #zathura. For my needs, there was nothing that I could not do with Zathura; plus Zathura opens non-PDF files (comic book, djvu, ps) and printing is built-in and does not require manual tweaking in the config file.
