THE SILENT ENEMY (’30): About as late a release in the #silentera as you can get, this ethnographic dramatization (if there is such a thing?), boasting a fully Indigenous cast, of the Ojibwe march north in search of food is a really compelling watch. The landscapes and outdoor scenes are so gorgeous. (On a related note I have developed a newfound hatred of the wolverine.) And the hype for that big caribou scene is completely legit- that alone is enough reason to seek this out. #silentfilm
