@Lucseleventje @Marloezovic en #yivi zouden verzekeraars, banken en #odido achtigen ook kunnen gebruiken in plaats van het opslaan overal en nergens van paspoorten en rijbewijzen .
Opslaan aantal soorten gevoelige gegevens hoeft technisch niet meer met yivi! Als er dan een hack komt zoals bij #odido is er veel minder impact voor betrokken burgers.

Moet wel de wet worden aangepast. Opslaan paspoort en is gegevens mag niet meer: #pki based bewijs is immers voldoende (yivi achtig cryptografische ondertekening is het zo goed bewijs van identiteit 🫆, zo niet veel beter want automatiseerbaar)

Ich sitze gerade an einem Artikel über Backup-Strategien unter Linux.

Prinzipiell bin ich ein Freund von Automatisierungen, da ich mich kenne und weiß, wie leicht ich ein manuell angestoßenes Backup vergesse.

Ein Problempunkt ist aber bei einem permanent angeschlossenen Laufwerk Ransomeware & Co., sprich, dass die Schadsoftware auch zum Backup springt.

Wie verfahrt Ihr, um Euer Backup zu schützen?

Auf Reddit gerade eine Nachricht, dass es eine große Lebensmittelkette mit einem Ransomware-Angriff zerrissen hat. Es erfolgte auch schon so lange, dass Backups nicht "erreichbar" sind.

Gerade mal die Kassensysteme funktionieren wohl.

Habt ein Incident Management. Habt einen Manager dafür. Spielt Szenarien durch (Testen, Testen, Testen). Macht Backups, die offline gesichert werden. Monitored eure Systeme.
