Un apprenti sorcier a renversé une potion millénaire et voilà que le monde est plongé dans la nuit.
Pour ce carnet j'ai choisi de représenter une magie particulière et accidentelle inspirée de quelques facéties DNDesque.
C'est un carnet qui a quand-même du mal à trouver ses propriétaires parce que je pense que ça s'éloigne un peu de ce que je fais d'habitude mais je sais qu'avec le temps il saura trouver ses mages maladroit'es pour le sublimer de milles sorts merveilleux portés par les agent'es du chaos.

Alright, it’s been a big job getting the battery (in the boxed on the photo) here from #China, the shed cleared up (most organised it’s been in a decade), the #NissanLeaf happy enough to drive in here and a cunning plan to use the pallet jack with attached platform to lower/raise the battery pack. Gus (very clever) is coming over Wednesday to sense check and we’re going to have a go. #ev #UpCycle

Making some earrings. I'm getting some actual jewelry pliers tomorrow so it should be a lot easier to make them.
I keep buying bags of "broken jewellery" from charity shops and I've decided to make a bunch of earrings from them.
Most of the stuff in them were from old bracelets or necklaces. Some are definitely too thick to be made into earrings so I may make some bead necklaces. Ig kinda #upcycling

I broke down my old Rostock MAX 3D printer. I saved the frame rails, belts, and stepper motors, among other parts. I upgraded my Prusa MK3 to MK4S. I saved the linear rails, bearings, belts, and stepper motors, among other parts. I've always wanted to make a camera motion platform, and now I have a lot of rails, belts, bearings, and stepper motors...
The MK3 controller board is only an ATmega, but it has the nice Trinamic stepper drivers.

Now, we mainly pass on rubbish to our children because the durability of everything has become so poor. In return, we have spent our lives acquiring much more and creating huge amounts of (problem) waste. Appreciation would help on so many levels...

I always find air matresses break so easily... they always seem to leak and never last Dx
I tried to make a jacket thinking it would work similar to a hard sythetic leather material. I was kinda wrong, it's kinda just stiff. Pics tommorow.
The material can be sewed rather easily and can be superglued very effectively. You could totally make an old one into a picnic blanket!! Maybe tarp?

For two pieces I'm working on two lampshades will be cut out a metal roof panel laying around here. One shade will be sanded to get a 'brushed' like finish. It won't be as uniform as factory 'brushed' so to pull it all together a clear coat will finish it of. The other shade will be white paint.
