Reposting the #introduction after I lost another instance to entropy.

After 4 years in the fediverse, an introduction on my own instance.
I'm a dad of three, living in #Chile, in the #valparaiso region, near the coast of #Concon. Work as IT engineering lead. In my scarce spare time I'm a #maker, #astronomy enthusiast, Bread #baker, #DYI #openhardare #electronics amateur and #solarpunk hopeful. I'm looking for people to start a #hackerspace or #makerspace as a part of and to grow the community based on #freesoftware ideals.

Después de 4 años en el fediverse, una introducción, celebrando una instancia nueva, de lo cual soy usuario único.
Como papá de tres, vivo en Chile, en la #quintaregion, en #Concón. Trabajo como líder de ingeniería informática. En mí poco tiempo libre soy un maker, entusiasta de la #astronomía, amateur de #electrónica y esperanzado por el Solarpunk. Estoy buscando gente para empezar un markerspace/hackerspace como manera de crear y crecer comunidad basada en los principios del conocimiento y #softwarelibre

Waiting for mine in Switzerland around February... :)

My guess why PRC is far ahead on us on #openhardare and especially #riscv is related to the restrictions imposed on them regarding Arm64. Risc-V is a way around for them.

Sad that this seems to be one of the main drivers for open hardware.

Hope to see an ecosystem grow around RiscV here.

For now i can only experiment on Alibaba D1 Soc / T-Head C906 based chinese boards...
