Cucurbitacea, the Chilean imprint founded by Edward Yatiri in Matanzas, continues shaping an identity where techno operates as both physical ritual and connection to a deeply Latin American sensibility. Del esquema al PCB 🚀🔔

Después de varias etapas de diseño y pruebas, llegó el momento de fabricar el primer prototipo del PCB para el proyecto del Timbre Escolar Inteligente.

En este video se puede ver parte del proceso: diseño, preparación y fabricación de la placa que va a integrar el ESP8266, control de relés y periféricos del sistema.

Todavía queda bastante trabajo por delante, pero ver cómo el proyecto empieza a tomar forma física es una de las partes más interesantes del desarrollo ⚡

Sigo avanzando con el proyecto del **Timbre Escolar Inteligente** y hoy quería compartir dos frentes en los que estuve trabajando en paralelo.

Por un lado, el **diseño del gabinete en FreeCAD**, pensando en una solución más prolija, compacta y lista para llevar a prototipo físico. Y por otro, una **API REST de consulta de feriados**, para que el sistema pueda identificar fechas especiales y evitar que suenen los timbres en días no laborables.

Me gusta mucho cuando un proyecto empieza a integrar distintas capas: software, electrónica, mecánica e integración con servicios externos. Ahí es donde realmente se empieza a transformar en una solución completa.

Todavía queda camino por recorrer, pero cada avance suma y le da más forma a la idea.

CF Premiere: Jëan Fixx – Pink Noise [INNFLEXIA]

Jëan Fixx, the musical alias of multidisciplinary artist Félix Fernández, has developed a language that moves across techno, electro, synth-wave, and EBM, shaping an identity where industrial textures and atmospheric depth coexist in constant tension. His trajectory spans labels such as iptamenosdiscos, Deep Different, Ruidodefondo, and Disctrl, alongside airplay across European and Latin American platforms. With INNFLEXIA, he extends his practice into a dedicated space for experimentation and the dissemination of contemporary electronic music.

With HINDSIGHT, his vision takes on a particularly focused form. Across 54 minutes, the album unfolds as an active reading of rave memory, deconstructing and reorganizing the codes that have shaped his trajectory. Techno, electro, EBM, electroclash, and synthpop emerge as layered elements within a narrative where the past remains dynamic—reactivated through a contemporary lens infused with psychedelic nuance and sustained emotional intensity.

A medida que fui avanzando con el software, también se fue definiendo el hardware, y hoy llegó el momento de dar un paso importante: empezar el diseño del PCB prototipo de mi Timbre Escolar Inteligente.

El proyecto ya viene tomando forma con la lógica de control, la interfaz web y la comunicación por WebSocket, y ahora toca materializar esas ideas en una placa pensada para ser más ordenada, compacta y confiable.

Este tipo de avances son los que más me entusiasman, porque transforman una idea de software en un sistema completo, listo para iterar, probar y mejorar.

Próximo paso: comenzar el ruteo del PCB y preparar la primera versión física del prototipo.

It's basically another melody that's the intersection of two previously played melodies, and by "intersection" I mean the set theory concept - playing notes that were in both melodies and subduing the other notes. Also added some sine wave tones, and wrote more of the bridge.
