I remember around 2009 mentioning in Twitter exchanges with the #NSGov people that I was disappointed that the highway cams refreshed so infrequently. 16 years later they are no better. Latest pic from 104 is 25 minutes old (and counting) #NovaScotia

@plantgeek That started in communities, I don't know if it got to the Eastern Shore area but I remember mention of it. I personally think, if we can pay $30,000,000 to park a ferry ( #Yarmouth ) in the name of #Tourism, surely our #TimHouston the visionary can see a connection between #Cellular and #Tourism and that for the cost of parking the Ferry, we could have had 30 more Cellular towers, to support those tourists, and locals, and to support #Healthcare 911 and #Alerts #NSGov #NSPoli #Fail

@walterdunham I'm always frustrated that the management of #NSGov is done by incompetent clerks. #AccessNS seems to have no adult supervision. You can walk into Tim Hortons and see the Manager's name on the wall. You can't find a supervisor at AccessNS unless you raise a fuss. Then they claim, the people who refer you to the clerks are responsible, but you can't talk to them, or hold them accountable, so I hold that against the Premier too. NSGov is not meeting its very basic obligations

Emergency Shelters need to be open year-round, because every day without a home is an emergency. Spurious action shouldn't only happen in the few hours before a storm.

Think of the people who've been rained on in tents for +24 hrs, then frozen.

@mattdagley I'm not sure why, but all these chest puffing moments for #NSGov are fake. They aren't reaching the target area. IE: Last escaped convict was important enough to warn the public, but only within city limits. NO one was alerted where escapee was hiding and captured. They never knew (well, I did, I pulled over for RCMP to arrest him. Harrigan Cove, Halifax, no Cellular zone)
Either there's an SOP or it's a Haphazard Optical illusion by Government to hide incompetence

My wife and I have the same Cellular carrier but I never get Emergency Alerts?
At least my wife got ths last one (Missing person)

(How come we never got one for the missing Lower #Sackville woman? Luckily she was found since. I recognized her, and was concerned. )

We don't have #cellular throughout World-Class #Halifax. If TV was not on, I'd not receive Emergency Alerts.
