#Correctionsns let a woman die of pneumonia (not something like a heart attack that comes on and kills suddenly!!!) in the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility (commonly referred to as "#Burnside")

I do not forgive them or understand... this does need a #publicinquiry as does every death in the custody of the state.

#Jail should not be a death sentence!
Elizabeth Fry of Mainland NS writes: At the young age of 36, Sarah passed away from pneumonia while incarcerated at #Burnside (Central Nova Correctional Facility). This should not have happened. Sarah's preventable death was a consequence of putting a vulnerable, #marginalized #Indigenous woman in jail who shouldn't have been there in the first place. We are calling for a public inquiry into Sarah's death and the circumstances that led to it.
