TIL one of the things the #NovaScotia government cut for literal billionaire yacht money was Provincial Heritage Fair. Heritage fair is like a science fair but instead it's about Canadian culture and heritage. This was my kid's first year. They did ravens. They were 1 vote from making it to provincials (4th place). I wear my bluetooth headphones all day.
It's been raining buckets all day and I saw a break, and put some plants out to enjoy the rain. I went about quietly cleaning (my wife is asleep) and I kept CONNECT/DISCONNECTING from the Bluetooth? I disconnected the PC, the Chromebook, and it still did it.It had to be my phone? I'm usually listening to music or audiobooks and carrying a phone is unnecessary here. There's no cellular but Bluetooth reaches a quarter of the acreage. My phone could be anywhere, I'd lose signal in the basement, and upstairs sometimes. Not in the cars, that was wet...
During one of the heaviest downpours, I saw it. In in temporary puddle all its own, case leaking water, face up, still showed notifications. I've been so lucky with this phone. Last summer, I dropped it in the ocean, helping launch a boat for someone. Still ticking, Still no cellular #NSPoli
