When the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner set out to check whether agencies publish the documents they release under FOI, it needed a record of what had been released and when.
For part of that work, it used Right to Know. The review of 30 agencies' disclosure logs names it more than thirty times and cites it in the footnotes.

Enfield Council says the public must pay £182 to view its full HMO register.
Yet the Housing Act requires the register to be available for public inspection, while Enfield’s own budget labels the charge “Copy of HMO Register”.
I’ve sent an open letter asking the council to identify the legal basis for charging to inspect it.

@RussCheshire An excellent article and a demonstration as to why attempts to restrict the application of the FOI should be fought. Hiding information so that Glasgow councillors are not voting without the facts and their implications before them is just WRONG. And corrupt.

@autisticallysarah.com After trying a few days not to get involved, I again wrote an #FoI request, this time for the grant agreement for this new project. The publicity material of these large projects is usually rather different from what the teams in charge signed up to in the grant agreements, which is why for transparency it is so important for these grant agreements to be published. The Freedom of Information Act 1982 doesn't have a provision for directly engaging the CEO of an agency.
But it doesn't prohibit it either 😉 .
