Meine #Nectcloud läuft auf meinem voll verschlüsselten #rootServer bei #Netcup. Da bin ich zwar für alles selbst zuständig, dafür habe ich auch Vollzugriff und maximale Flexibilität. Probleme bei NC Updates gab's früher eher mal. Inzwischen läuft das problemlos, insbesondere, wenn man nicht über die grafische Oberfläche, sondern über #occ auf der Kommandozeile updatet.

Just performed a number of #nectcloud updates in a row going from I believe version 27 to 31. Haven't noticed any obvious breakage so far. It was actually quite smooth with the script I found here: https://lab.uberspace.de/guide_nextcloud/#updates

@pu could it be a false alarm in the #Nectcloud occ files scan? I have never noticed a missing file. I have many with even kanji and Chinese filenames, and the groups scan has never complained. But I also have not yet loaded it with the full library.

@marjon Get a hosted #Nectcloud (like Hetzner StorageShare). If ypu install the Nextclod App "Memories" you get a quite nice Google replacement.

Mein 1 TB-Account ist - über alle 6 Benutzer hinweg - eigentlich nur mit ca. 350 GB belegt. Trotzdem erhalten ich bei Dateien die Meldung "Speicher voll".
- kein externer Speiche eingebunden
- keine Quota für User eingerichtet
Wo könnte ich noch schauen?

@senzapretese mi sembra di capire si tratti di software proprietario, sbaglio ? Ho cercato i sorgenti ma trovo solo quelli della documentazione, e il tono del sito ufficiale è da mercato del pesce ("5x storage if you subscribe before end of the year").

Io uso #NectCloud per sincronizzare file su più dispositivi, e #Notes per scrivere in #MarkDown su Android.

Sono passati molti più di 3 anni da quando lo faccio e riesco a leggere tutte le mie note, da ovunque (incluso da terminale)

I was thinking of Memories which is an #Nectcloud #App.

But will have a look into #Immich as well.

@necrosis @fedilz Ja. Belwue zieht sich komplett aus dem Schulbereich zurück und bleibt nur noch in der Hochschule und Forschung zuständig. Wir hosten als Schule #IServ im Haus, bei dem alle Schüler:innen Zugriff haben. Die Uploadgröße wird dort nur Probeleme machen, wenn die Serverfestplatten voll werden. 😄 Und für externe Gast-Freigaben haben wir noch eine eigene #Nectcloud.
