- I should put the energy monitoring socket on that fridge. I reckon it would show up a lot of power waste, which might increase my motivation to replace it

- to find that post, I need to set up elasticsearch for Mastodon. But I've just tweaked php-fpm for NextCloud and it's finally running smoothly. I don't want it to tax the RAM again.
- hmmm... I wonder if I could have elasticsearch running on the on-demand server and schedule it to wake up and index and stuff every so often. It's only running Jellyfin and some other minor stuff
- oooh I want to show dad how Jellyfin works on his new TV...hmmm maybe later. I wanted to get some things done while there is some daylight remaining

@earthrid @flying_pyjamas I remember werkkzeug. It looked interesting but yeah I am not a coder brain. There’s people using Blender to do cool things - again it’s just not fitting my brain. I even dumped Ableton Live. #coding #MyBrain

Yet again, #Saturday morning, brain kicks in with a startlingly great answer to a work problem and I know at 6am if I don't write it down, by 8am this idea will be fully erased and only a symbolic link will be left to a dead space
So I get up, and draw out the whole thing on my Chromebook so I can refer back to it on Monday
Now I'm wide awake knowing I will be knackered later.

Every morning when I make breakfast, I face a dilemma:
Do I give my wife a fork that I think is acceptable, because I have a complex relationship with our cutlery, or just whatever fork I grab out of the drawer because she doesn’t care.
I’m learning to accept that giving her a fork that I despise is not a sign of disrespect.
