Have I mentioned I’m working on #synthseqr 3.0? Things are getting really serious. I have all my parts in my inventory and my order of five #pcb are arriving Friday. I #3dprinting’d a stand in for the pcb since #kicad will let you do that, and I did a test fit of the physical interface parts. It’s starting to feel real!

Busy week for #synthseqr! Per step pitch drift, gave the user options for how the sliders feel, gave the user options for what the up and down buttons do by default, *chord modes* for d-pad and sliders, improved ui for telling the user which slider mode is active, and then letting users program steps by playing notes or chords with an external keyboard.

while working on #synthseqr, the #LCD was acting up. I had to sort of dis-assemble the LCD from the motherboard. It was taped together, extremely forcefully. Regarding the heat-set inserts, well, we'll see how good my aim was. The pace of development is crazy. I'm pretty sure I want to flood the #synthseqr logo with something. Probably acrylic paint. Acrylic media. something to aid flow, while maintaining the opaque darkness. I just bought some applicator bottles #mybrain #allthetime #omg

#synthseqr #3dprinting temporarily pausing on 2 color printing until I can get the final fit done on internal components. I had a couple of extruder issues. Anyway, final assembly parts are arriving tomorrow. #synth #sequencer

I’ve been working on revitalizing my two products that I design and build. I had a long break from them, but now they can take midi clock in, and with midi routing, they can both be played at the same time. One is for drum machine style patterns and the other is for melodic patterns like synth leads or bass lines. Super fun! #beatseqr #synthseqr #synth #drummachine
