Multiple reports indicate that military commanders across branches and installations have told troops that the war with Iran is part of a divine plan to bring about #Armageddon and the return of Jesus Christ.
The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (#MRFF) received over 110 complaints from service members in more than 40 units, stating that commanders cited the Book of #Revelation, referred to President #Trump as “anointed by Jesus,” and described the war as a biblically sanctioned event. One non-commissioned officer reported that their commander said Trump was chosen to “light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon.”
#Hegseth sponsors a weekly White House Bible study led by Pastor Ralph #Drollinger, who teaches that supporting #Israel brings divine favor.
We need to get these people away from power and guns now.

So while Marco can claim Iran's clerics made decisions purely on theology, our own armies are claiming they're on a religious mission; no irony at all.

The amendment, slipped into the House version of the defense authorization bill by Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio, would forbid service members from contacting the Military Religious Freedom Foundation or its leadership.
Obviously this christian supremacy move won't be in the final NDAA.

Absolute madness and an obvious #FirstAmendment issue.
The #MilitaryReligiousFreedonFoundation is an important organization that should be respected and heard, not attacked by clueless lawmakers who don't respect the #EstablishmentClause.
Also --- let's be frank. I believe the attacks on #MRFF fueled by #AntiSemitism, based on past attacks by those who are offended by the fact that its leader, Mikey Weinstein, is #Jewish.
