  1. Suspected Assassin Preached on #SpiritualWarfare

Man charged with murdering Minnesota legislator said God would raise up apostles and prophets to correct the church.

    Paul O'Donnell, June 16, 2025

"#VanceBoelter, the man arrested in connection with the killing of a Minnesota state legislator and her husband and the shooting of a state senator and his wife on June 14, is an #evangelical missionary who has preached in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in recent years.

"The FBI identified Boelter, 57, as a suspect in the killing of Rep. #MelissaHortman, a Democrat, and Mark Hortman at their home in Champlin, a suburb of Minneapolis. The suspect, who impersonated an officer to gain entry to the Hortmans’ home, was still at the crime scene when police officers arrived, but he escaped after an exchange of fire.

"Earlier, the suspect had shot and wounded Democratic state Sen. #JohnHoffman and his wife, Yvette Hoffman, at their home.

"Boelter identified himself on LinkedIn and other websites as the CEO and president of two security services companies, #PraetorianGuard Security Services and #RedLionGroup, the latter based in DRC, in Central Africa. On his LinkedIn page, which shows that he worked as a general manager at 7-11 in Minneapolis until 2021, he lists himself as open to work.

"But in a video dated February 2023, Boelter is seen preaching at La Borne Matadi, a church in Matadi, on the western coast of the DRC. In one sermon he tells the audience that 'people don’t know what sex they are' because the devil 'has gotten so far into their mind and their soul.'

"In another sermon at the church, one of three he gave from 2021 to 2023, according to Wired, Boelter said, 'They don’t know abortion is wrong, many churches,' he told the audience. 'They don’t have the gifts flowing. God gives the body gifts. To keep balance. Because when the body starts moving in the wrong direction, when they’re one, and accepting the gifts, God will raise an apostle or prophet to correct their course.'

" 'God is going to raise up apostles and prophets in America,' he added, 'to correct his church.'

"On the now-defunct website for #Revoformation, a nonprofit apparently founded by Boelter, a biography said that he was ordained in 1993 and had attended #ChristForTheNationsInstitute in Dallas, a #charismatic 'Spirit-filled Bible School,' according to its website, that helps develop ministry skills."

  2. @charlotteclymer

    This.
    #Fascism is here. Now.

This is what #Totalitarianism looks like.

This is #Autocracy using #capitalism to silence discourse because #Oligarchy fears an informed #CivilSociety.

The #Kleptocracy wants you to be #ignorant and #intimidated and #miserable. They want you isolated.

The #Nazi #ChristoFascists are terrified of #laughter at their own expense because they are incapable of self awareness.

This is what the fall of #American #Democracy looks like.

  3. What do #VanceBoelter and #ErikPrince have in common? Quite a bit! But Prince prefers to farm out #Assassinations to his minions!

    #Theocratic #Mercenary Erik Prince and the #ChristianRight

    by Mike Kuhlenbeck • 19 June 2018

"Erik Dean Prince was born in Holland, Michigan, on June 6, 1969, the youngest child and only son of Edgar and Elsa Prince, who also had daughters Betsy, Emilie, and Eileen. As documented by author Suzanne Simons in her 2009 book Master of War: #Blackwater USA’s Erik Prince and the Business of War, Prince grew up in a religious household and attended Christian schools; the Princes were members of the Reformed Church in America, a conservative Christian sect that follows the philosophical template of theologian John Calvin.

"Edgar Prince worked as a die caster and then chief engineer for the die cast machine manufacturing outfit Buss Machine Works after serving in the US Air Force. In 1965 he and two co-workers struck out on their own to establish Prince Manufacturing. By the 1970s the company expanded its operations and became financially successful, as did the Prince family. Edgar Prince died of heart failure in 1995, and the company was sold to Johnson Controls for over $1 billion.

"Surrounded by those who share their belief in Christian-based politics, the Prince family has used its fortune to help build the #ConservativeChristian movement. Focus on the Family founder James Dobson and Richard Nixon’s disgraced former special counsel Charles Colson (who became a born-again Christian after serving seven months in prison for his role in the Watergate scandal) were family friends. Edgar and Elsa Prince were major contributors to the Family Research Council and founded the nonprofit Edgar and Elsa Prince Foundation in 1979, substantial funds from which have gone toward the effort to abolish the legal wall separating church and state. The Prince family also has deep ties to the Council for National Policy (#CNP) which, according to its vision statement, supports “a united conservative movement to assure, by 2020, policy leadership and governance that restores religious and economic freedom, a strong national defense, and #JudeoChristian values under the Constitution.”

"From Reverend #BillyGraham’s “spiritual counsel” to twelve US presidents, to Reverend #JerryFalwell’s #MoralMajority movement of the 1970s and ’80s, to Marion Gordon #PatRobertson’s #ChristianCoalition (now the #ChristianCoalitionOfAmerica), the movement to push a #fundamentalist “Judeo-Christian” agenda into the public sphere has been an ongoing crusade. Keeping with family tradition, Erik Prince’s sister Betsy married fellow Christian right figure Dick DeVos, whose father is the founder of Amway and the past president of the CNP from 1990-1993. Betsy DeVos served as the chair of the Michigan Republican Party and now serves as US Secretary of Education under Donald Trump. The DeVos dynasty, labelled a “family of extremists” by the Center for American Progress, is undoubtedly having an influence on the Trump White House."

  8. So, since in this topsy turvey world, the so-called "Christians" are the EVIL ONES, and those who oppose them ("Anti-Christs"?) are the forces of GOOD! This post from FB from 2018 sums it up my "philosophy." #ChristoFascists and #Zionists want the world to burn. Those of us who love #Nature and tolerance and kindness want a green, living world, where its all its denizens can live in balance and harmony.

    "February 2, 2018

So, in my little of Gnostic mythos (which | wrote way before reading Pagels - back in 1984), the 'Antichrist' is an agent of the forces of Nature and Wisdom (Sophia) represented by human figure Peter Gabriel -- while the bad guys are the ones fooled by the 'False Prophet,' who wants to start World War III so everything will be 'one bright light, burning as one, forever and ever' (nuclear war)!"

  11. @Anarchy_How @KFuentesGeorge
I guess that's your opinion Kemi but I *know* I don't fundamentally misunderstand America when I use that language and will continue to do so.

It creates a cognitive dissonance that #ChristoFascists and #TheocraticNationalists have to reconcile.

The Taliban and their oppressive nature which is based in religious fervor is something the #ReichWing has railed about for decades. So to use #ChristianSharia or #USTaliban makes it to where they MUST face this hypocrisy.
