So The Public Sector Are Complaining Again!
According to this article, public sector workers are complaining that they are being inundated with complaints written by AI! Apparently people are getting AI to write correct complaints letters about the people in the public sector or about the service they have received.
The public sector workers are apparently up in arms!
I really cannot fathom why. If you are being complained about it is because who are either not doing your job, not doing your job correctly, not delivering value or acting in a corrupt manner. If you are public sector worker and you are not delivering then you deserve to be complained about!
All the people who complain about you are doing is using a tool to write better letters! Its that simple.
If the public sector cannot cope with this then the public sector needs to stop employing the under employed.
To the individual workers I say this. If you can look in the mirror after you come home from work and say to yourself that you have delivered the correct value that day for the amount the taxpayer pays for you and be honest about it then you may have done a good days work. If you cannot say that on 99 days out of 100 then you don’t really deserve a job anywhere.
The public sector and its contractors need to get their houses in order here. You run organisations that have made it next to impossible for anyone to get sacked, you are terribly over resourced and your staff are under employed and over paid with no one taking absolute responsibility and business processes that so all over the place that make a spaghetti Bolognese seem orderly and organised!
If you don’t want the complaints, then put yourselves in a position where you cannot be complained about. That means doing your jobs properly every day, delivering correctly, sorting your processes out and in some cases taking pay cuts. Its actually not that difficult and if the private sector can manage it easily then it should not be that difficult for the public sector.
I mostly gave up complaining about individual events in the public sector some time ago instead these days I prefer to put thise complaints here as they get a lot more airtime.
For those of you that do not know, some 8 years ago I moved from London to the West Midlands. To compare the public sector and contractors of any flavour in London to the West Midlands is comparing chalk and cheese. Yes London was poor but not as poor as the West Midlands. In the West Midlands, they might as well not bother turning up and that goes for all staff grades from toilet cleaner to chief executive. Central government has a part to play here too as they should withhold funding from under performing councils. Councillors and MP’s do not seem to help either, actually, they seem to compound the situation.
In my area 5 councils will be merged in to 2 in a couple of years’ time. In my opinion, it should have been only one council. Well is 2 is better than 5. I am of the opinion that these 2 new councils should be freshly staffed. No staff migrating from the old councils. Why? This could be a good fresh start. No bad habits and a council where all staff and contractors are correctly employed. Correct, fresh new processes and a correct purpose and mission. Mention that on social media and all the trade unionists and hard left come out, because all of their mates work for the council!
Getting back to complaints and how to handle them. A fresh new council would be a good way to go.
The article I linked to at the top mentions schools, so I will too, albeit briefly. Schools: Teach kids properly and do your job right. If you are a school and cannot teach kids properly all you will end up with producing is young people who are only fit for jobs working in the public sector!
As I close I say this to all public sector workers. If you don’t want a complaint, do your job properly in the first place. It is that simple. If you don’t want to do your job properly, then there are other options.

Friends, soulwise, these are trying times. Now is the time for all good citizens to come to the aid of our country, and it won’t help if you all cower in places like Madison and the Upper West Side, having hot fantods over the approach of fascism. To the barricades, team. And for Lord’s sake, don’t leave your sense of humor behind.

@elsua54 For this reply... Yes! We are in a desperate situation:
It's all measurable even if you believe only 50% of #news and ignore other people's justified #complaints / experiences of 'work'.
Created / forced into debt / inflation,
Bad managers in most / all sectors,
Uncaring states doing bad work...'Incentives' are different in meaning if in a desperate situation - abuse after the people are robbed previously / increasingly.

@DjityDjity [7/7] [I appreciate you having a look this list]
🌩️ Overall this kind of list forces people to react with #emotion at less better points in time and places less directed for these #feelings #complaints #historic #problems (or whatever part the #heckler has a #problem or #feeling about]. nobody has a machine for processing this and arguably only humans can do this.
(and even those #caring for people are often underpaid / deliberately overwhelmed as doctors / nurses, police #strike]
