  1. Another day, another device, another change for MS to try and lure me into setting a new default browser. This time on Outlook for Android.

Microsoft, stop trying to make Edge happen. It's not going to happen.

  2. Seriously, WTF is happening with #Microsoft Outlook's grammar checking? As of today, it is introducing more errors than it is correcting! This is a new low.

  3. Why do corporate emails systems still have #spam folders if they use an upstream perimeter defense system for #phishing? I mean, I can report phishing but there is no button in my #Outlook to just mark an email as regular -- non-phishing -- junk.

I have a folder for email that I have "blocked" but no button to use the folder. WTF?

  4. Are there any decent replacements for Outlook/Google calendar apps?

I want an Android (well, e/OS) calendar app that does what Outlook does minus the e-mail client – i.e. one that allows me to handle (not just subscribe to) both my work Exchange calendars and private Google calendars and to show upcoming calendar events in a widget on the home screen.

I tested Proton Calendar – falls short of the above.

  6. Microsoft Outlook enforcement is here

Microsoft started enforcing DMARC for outlook.com senders in May 2025

if you're still at p=none for domains sending to Outlook, Hotmail, or live.com recipients, your deliverability is already degrading

combined with Google/Yahoo rejecting non-compliant bulk senders since November 2025, the three largest consumer mailbox providers now enforce authentication
