#mastadonapp — Public Fediverse posts

So #Fediverse, tell me - are there any Mastodon clients you really like for the desktop? Specifically, I am hoping for something with a GUI, linux native, and has support for vim motions. The stretch goal would be something cross-platform.

I'll just download and test a bunch if I have to, but hoping one of you can save me the effort, because so far my search-engine-fu is not yielding any results regarding vim-motions. (which I concede is a bit of a long shot)

Ich bin nicht #neuhier aber wie funktioniert eigentlich die offizielle #mastadonapp ? Ich öffne nach vielen Stunden die App und es steht “Fehlende Beiträge laden”. Ich drücke drauf und es werden Beiträge geladen aber es wird dann irgendwo hingesprungen. Ich muss dann wieder runterscrollen um nichts zu verpassen aber meistens weiß ich gar nicht mehr wie weit ich runterscrollen muss um dahin zu kommen wo ich vorher aufgehört habe zu lesen. Und zwischendrin ist wieder ein “Fehlende Beiträge laden”

Highly recommend using elk.zone as your browser-based Mastodon interface. Go to elk.zone and log into your account. The interface feels very familiar to this bird site refugee. #elkzone #mastadonapp #mastoUX

Anyone else have the Mastadon app lock up if they paste text into a post? #mastadonapp #mastadonquery

Really love this feature for my own #MentalHealth. Its been a while since ive hung out in the #fediverse.

So sad! Just wrote a nice post about #voting on #MastadonApp, added image, descriptions, and was working on CW when it all poofed! It suddenly refreshed and all the writing had disappeared. T_T

Oh well, starting over then~ ^_^
