I enjoy using the #macOS version of Manfred lately and have a lot of fun trying out the new fonts that come with the next release (like Comic Neue or Iosevka for example).

Try phanpy if you want to see threaded posts on Mastodon as they are intended. Not sure why #ivory and other mastodon clients don’t follow this standard.

The #ManfredApp is now also available for #Android. Manfred is a cross-platform #MastodonClient which was initially published for #iOS and as a desktop app for #macOS. For now it is free.

It features:

- Configurable multi-column setup
- Multi-account support
- A focus mode (if you want to reduce distractions)
- Many timeline options and filters

I am still collecting feedback and I am open for your ideas.

As you may know, the Manfred App was conceived with the ambition of being cross-platform back in early 2023. Although a test release for #Android was published that year, the focus has been on iOS and macOS ever since. I am therefore delighted to announce that I have made significant progress in terms of Android compatibility, and the app will be available on that platform too. In fact, I updated the old test version. So feel free to try it out!

And #Apple is fast with app reviews for #macOS these days… so v2.1.0 of the #ManfredApp was accepted and is rolling out to the AppStore. :pensive_party_blob:

#ManfredApp finally reached v2.0.0 and was released for #macOS today. There have been some great improvements and it comes with a lot of cool features. For example: you can now configure as many columns as you want for timelines, hashtags, lists, notifications and so on... and finally, push notifications (!!!) have found their way into Manfred. This has been really tricky, but it's done now. So grab your copy while it's hot. Version 2.1.0 has already been submitted to Apple. My default follow button on the Mastodon iPhone app is stuck on unfollow for any new user I come across. I'm not following them yet but the app has the unfollow button instead of follow button. I'm required to push the unfollow button first before I can then follow anyone. Anyone else experiencing this? #mastodon #mastodonclient #mastodonapp #mastodonbug #askfedi

I wish the creators of #Pixelix would create a Mastodon client! #Pixelix is really nice, not least with the choice of font (same as bsky?) and nice text rendering (compared to *cough*).

The "look and feel" of the text in Masto initially kept me off Masto (before I understood the huge immense difference in free and open vs obscure crypto-bro owned algo socials)

I even tried to log in with my Masto account in Pixelix, but that didn't work.

@moshidon I've been seeing more activity on #Moshidon the last few days, with updates to the nightlies coming out quite frequently. Very exciting, I'm looking forward to see the new rebuilt version!

Why can't I just right-click and "Open Link in New tab" anywhere? Where is my hypermedia? :(

Trying out #IceCubesApp Mastodon client. #TrunksApp has been my go to for a couple of months, but it seems to have no current development and some very odd UI issues.

Ice Cubes interests me because it’s written in #Swift, meaning there’s going to be an ongoing focus on iOS and MacOS.

Today version 1.0.9 of #ManfredApp (a #MastodonClient for #iOS, #iPadOS and #macOS) was released bringing you the following features:

- support for displaying quoted statuses
- auto-reload after posting a reply
- an option to disable animated avatars.
- some bug fixes.

Thank you for your feedback, especially to Markus Opitz for highlighting issues with quoted posts.

I've always wanted to be able to filter my #mastodon feeds by people I'm following or hashtags, instead of one huge noisy feed of both.

I've got enough working now I'd love for others to give it a shot, everything is stored in your browser, no tracking or servers collecting data.

Does anyone know a Linux-Desktop or Web-Client for Mastodon, that supports multi-account features like the @moshidon android app?
I'd like to browse with an instance and like/comment/repost with a different account. Bonus points if it supports browsing pixelfed as well!
I tried Fedistar, Elk, Phanpy, Tooty and pl-fe so far.
