@moshidon I've been seeing more activity on #Moshidon the last few days, with updates to the nightlies coming out quite frequently. Very exciting, I'm looking forward to see the new rebuilt version!

I'm failing to find a way to open a Mastodon post in a new browser tab (on the standard web client).
Why can't I just right-click and "Open Link in New tab" anywhere? Where is my hypermedia? :(

Trying out #IceCubesApp Mastodon client. #TrunksApp has been my go to for a couple of months, but it seems to have no current development and some very odd UI issues.
Ice Cubes interests me because it’s written in #Swift, meaning there’s going to be an ongoing focus on iOS and MacOS.

Today version 1.0.9 of #ManfredApp (a #MastodonClient for #iOS, #iPadOS and #macOS) was released bringing you the following features:
- support for displaying quoted statuses
- auto-reload after posting a reply
- an option to disable animated avatars.
- some bug fixes.Thank you for your feedback, especially to Markus Opitz for highlighting issues with quoted posts.

I've always wanted to be able to filter my #mastodon feeds by people I'm following or hashtags, instead of one huge noisy feed of both.
I've got enough working now I'd love for others to give it a shot, everything is stored in your browser, no tracking or servers collecting data.

Does anyone know a Linux-Desktop or Web-Client for Mastodon, that supports multi-account features like the @moshidon android app?
I'd like to browse with an instance and like/comment/repost with a different account. Bonus points if it supports browsing pixelfed as well!
I tried Fedistar, Elk, Phanpy, Tooty and pl-fe so far.

Il y a à peu près 2 ans j’ai acheté l’app Mona for Mastodon en formule ultra, licence à vie.
À présent, l’auteur sort une nouvelle version de l’application, qui n’utilise pas la même licence, il me faudrait donc repasser à la caisse (on parle d’un peu plus de 20€, ce qui n’est pas rien pour une app iOS).De ce fait j’ai décidé de changer d’app et de passer sur Ice Cubes, qui lui est réellement gratuit, et bien suffisant pour l’usage que j’en ai.

Je vais jouer encore un peu avec et si c'est validé, j'hébergerai.

Fread não é um aplicativo cliente ruim para o Mastodon. Ainda têm muito o que melhorar mas pelo menos até o momento em que baixei ele ainda existiam actualizações recentes. Sinal de que os DEVs ainda estão focados nesse projeto.
O diferencial dele é que além do Mastodon também se propõe a suportar o BlueSky e ainda RSS. Entre suas limitações está disponível principalmente nos idiomas Inglês e outra que não identifiquei mas parece Mandarim. Resenha ruim.

@Tuba is such a nice Mastodon client. It's really growing on me. I just wish you could combine several hashtags in a single timeline, like yo can do on Tusky or Phanpy.

Can anyone recommend an iOS Mastodon client that works exactly the way I want?
I just need it to remember where I left off, and to let me scroll up towards “now” in time in my feed. I don’t care what it does in the local or federated feeds.

Does anybody know of a Mastodon web client that allows using markdown or HTML to format posts?
I checked the list on https://joinmastodon.org/apps (web section), and they either have 0 documentation and just ask to make an account, or their docs don't cover this topic at all. An I don't feel like connection through each one of them to figure out.

Alright I just did test toot by setting nvim as an editor. Seems like you should follow the instructions visible, otherwise strange things will happen.

Version 1.0.3 of the #ManfredApp introduces a new configuration option for the mobile client (#iOS and #iPadOS). You can now choose whether links open in the system or in-app browser. Thanks to Markus for suggesting this feature. :mastodon:
