Various forms of #ID need to be presented while the #TSA agent’s laptop verifies the employment status with the #airline. If successful, the employee can access the sterile area without any screening at all.

We received a “Bentley’s hindleg” height’s worth of snow last night (approximately 30 cm). While it’s been colder than today’s -18 Celsius this winter, #YYC Calgarians have been lucky to enjoy above freezing temps during February, so this feels colder in contrast to our recent weather. That said, the snow is good for the trees and snow-loving dogs #DogsOfMastodon #KCM

Another comment by someone who had lost their hearing and in process of losing their sight, said describing tactile elements was helpful - what do the objects feel like if you were touching what is in the space presented in the image? Also, they said they don't need details of everything, just the important parts. #AltText #KCM

It's been bugging me that I couldn't name the trees in the photo I'd uploaded. I checked the maps of the area where we walked when I took this photo, and by using the names of the trails - Old South Jetty trail, South Beach State Park, (nearby) Siuslaw National Forest, #Oregon - finally found more info on the trees. Long story short, I think these are old growth Sitka Spruce. If anyone with more knowledge has a better idea, please let me know, thanks. #MossTodon #KCM

Thread of seven images. Here are some sunrise pics from yesterday morning, taken from the top of the hill across the way from our place. While Chinook weather gives me a headache and means Bentley tracks in mud, it’s worth putting up with this, since the warm Chinook wind brings above freezing temps, especially compared to the deep freeze of a wind chill of -41 C before Christmas. Earlier this morning I was looking at our table today, and noticed that the matchbox we had out last night, for during the blackout, echoed the red bird on our trivet. I also realized that the nest on the trivet reflects the grid pattern of the sudoku board and the green and purple blocks of one of the candles. I like when adjacent objects or patterns echo each other so I took a photo to share here. #KCM
