  1. Kaiteki.

    Why
    #Kaiteki ?
One client for everyone, everything, and everywhere
Kaiteki has support for 4 platforms, 4*services and over 10 languages.
No matter who you are, Kaiteki is the right client for you.

  2. @neijatolf there are a few but I'm forgetting the names of the top of my head. #Kaiteki is one of them

  3. Is there a foss android client for firefish/Misskey/that new fork thats more stable or whatever yet? Kaiteki doesn't have the save image feature, fedilab has weird little inconsistencies, and the web app just fucks up and thinks I'm doing gestures when I'm not

  5. There are so many great clients. My favorite from those I tried so far is @moshidon. Right now I am on @mastify, it's amazing but right now it lacks lot of features. There are also lot of other great clients like and .

  6. #Kaiteki

Hi, I mean, for a while, there are only reactions possible for a post in
    #Kaiteki.

Where is the simple star for set a favorite?

  8. Hmmmm, I feel like the home button should scroll the timeline view back to the top

    #kaiteki

  9. wow. @Kaiteki seems to be almost perfect!

I like the current design of its UI and it's quite similar to @trunksapp !

Also, it's quite similar to Twitter's web app, which includes:

    - creation of threads by clicking the plus icon (better then @sengi_app 's way)

    - picking the color theme ( @elk has it too!)

    - has a view of posts similar to Twitter's

    - a compositor box, a beautiful one

    ....and many other features!

Currently doesn't support Trends, and some other features, but from I see, the development of Kaiteki is really great!

  10. @ewan Not sure how likely it is. The Firefish team seem pretty small compared to a lot of other ActivityPub projects, and I'm not sure if theres a motivation within the team to make a whole new app, especially seeing how polished #Kaiteki is despite it being an alpha :blobfoxmelt:

  11. So happy that I can finally use Kaiteki! When I tried it a few weeks ago, it kinda just crashed for no apparent reason whenever I tried to log in.

The interface feels really polished, and the functionality is also there. Great app! Thanks, devs!

Do you think, that's worth for a feature request?

    In my daily use, thats
the point I'm missing in comparison to #Mastodon

I'm not shure, but I thought that
@[email protected] has this implemented independent from the API...

It's a little bit anoying to scroll down for new posts since last visit, seeking the last read manually and then scrolling or tabbing to the top to continue.

  13. It would be nice, #FireFish where able to store the last reading position of all the timelines and starting at this position after next login or reopen the apps.

    Maybe, there is such a
#setting, that I'm not found yet?

  18. @luigimi di solito non c'è bisogno di app esterne / terze perché gli sviluppi sono sempre più veloci.
Ci sono comunque un paio di App che dovrebbero funzionare,
    #missririca e #kaiteki

  19. Hey , I'm curious, what apps do ya'll use for browsing Mastodon on your phone? I'm currently using (Android)

  20. Got the #Feditext TestFlight beta.

    Hopefully more
#Fediverse clients (like Feditext and #Kaiteki) start supporting multiple software backends. It’s kinda crucial for an interconnected network, on mobile at least.

  21. @[email protected] how do you refresh your feed on the Android app? #kaiteki

  22. hm... Testing #Firefish through #Kaiteki.

    Hello World!
    :firefish:

  23. Okily dokily, found a few more headscratchers while playing with #FireFish.

    - Sometimes, the upload of images via
#Firefox results in a borked mess. At first, I suspected HTML5 canvas being blocked, but I can't reproduce that issue in e.g. Vivaldi (good job, @[email protected] 🥰). [img 1]
    - Fetching remote profiles sometimes takes a ton of time, sometimes it doesn't work at all.
    -
#FediLab works OK-ish, as mentioned above. I just hope that Tom will improve the FireFish support at some point.
    -
#Kaiteki, one of the promoted Android apps on joinfirefish.org is also OK, but seems a bit... off(?) I dunno how to describe it. Sometimes it just doesn't work as expected, i.e. I can't like/fav/react to some posts. Curious to see how the teased official app will work out.
    - Is it just me, or are custom emojis wayyyyyyyyyy too big for running in posts in the web version of FireFish? I.e.
:firefish: takes up ~ 1.5 lines. [img 2]
    - The information situation re: Firefish is all over the place. The official website has a bunch of broken links, the official flagship server and the official account linked on the official website do not exist yet (i.e.
@[email protected] or @[email protected]) and the only available Fediverse account @[email protected] isn't verified/linked anywhere. To newcomers, this is a bit weird, probably.
    -
The source code situation is also still a bit chaotic. I.e. the issue tracking in the Codeberg repo got lost during the rebranding...? They moved the repo to https://git.joinfirefish.org/firefish/firefish/

Again, all in all, those are really minor nitpicks, and damn sure that the fantastic team will address them in due time, once the dust from the recent rebranding settles. I'm still extremely excited for FireFish and its future! ☺️

  24. @Murmelchen Es gibt ehrere

  26. Dammmn I finally managed to get my android #Kaiteki client to work and it's sexy :blobcatheart:

  27. Ooh, Kaiteki now has better feature compatilibity with Calckey (and presumably other fedi apps)
