Am Wochenende das erste mal Langstrecke mit dem gebrauchten #ID4pro gemacht. 500km hin und wieder zurück. Eigentlich nur einmal "Ärger" mit defekten Ladesäulen gehabt, ein paar Kilometer weiter waren aber schon die nächsten.

Was aber auffällt ist die fehlende Akku-Vorkonditionierung bei den alten #ID Modellen. Auf der Hinfahrt bei 3 Grad von 15% auf 70% in 40 Minuten, auf der Rückfahrt bei 11 Grad von 11% auf 80% in 32 Minuten. Aber jetzt kommt ja der Frühling.

Mal etwas zum Einrichten eines gebrauchten #id4pro mit Software v3.7: mit App und Auto hat das Ganze vielleicht 5 min gedauert und ist eigentlich selbsterklärend.

Ich weiß ja nicht was alle über diese Software schimpfen, sie ist halt nicht der letzte fancy scheis. Aber mal ehrlich, ich hab schon schlechteres programmiert.

Thank goodness for the Net . . .

I'm leasing a 2023 #VW #ID4Pro and after recharging the car yesterday, the computer screens on the car (2 of them) went entirely blank this morning.

Fortunately, the car still functioned -- trans worked, lights worked & turn signals (& I assume, the brake lights) worked -- but the speedo, radio, climate control & all of the rest of the stuff controlled by the computer didn't.

Took a risk driving it to/from the PO & after I got back, I #Googled the problem & immediately found the solution.

Just press the on/off button for the main screen for 10+ secs. Did that & it worked but that info was no where to be found in the owner's manual. 🤷‍♂️

Glad I'm just leasing this car . . . 😉

I have a Level 2 charger my #ID4Pro #EV at home. I also have a #ChargePoint #EVGo & an #ElectrifyAmerica account.

However, I believe in #BeingPreprared. So, I bought a #J1772 to #NACS #Tesla adapter but I'd only use a Tesla #Supercharger (or destination charger) as a last resort (because I have issues with #Musk ) & haven't even downloaded the Tesla charging app yet, so I can't even use a Tesla charger yet but . . .
