Shoutout to the Rivian Service Center in Minnesota. In and out in under an hour for the 9K service + tire rotation. They also proactively fixed something on the front camera washer so it won't gum up later.
Clean space, solid guest wifi, and a rep noticed I was working and offered me their conference room in case I needed to take a call. Didn't expect that.

Anyone interested in a set of four OEM 21” wheels and tires with aero covers from my #Rivian #R1T? I just replaced them with a 20” set. They have about 43,000 miles on them, and tire tread is under 6/32”. I’m happy to deliver or meet half way within reasonable distance of #Baltimore. I’m thinking $700 for the set, or $200 each.

Dropped my #R1T off for regular maintenance, and #Rivian gave me Uber credits so I’m not stuck at the service center while they work (they also would have given me a loaner or rental car, but it should be pretty quick). Apparently I haven’t used Uber since I was in #NewZealand, so my app is still in kilometers, instead of miles.

The Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb is one of the longest-running races in the world, being held 102 times since 1916. Also known as the #RaceToTheClouds.
Rivian’s entry is a stock R1T – but with Rivian’s new upgraded “#AscendQuadMax” trim. This ups the torque and horsepower to 1,198lb-ft and 1,025hp respectively, much higher than the previous 835hp top-spec.

These trucks ARE amazing. They aren’t the most efficient EVs but they are powerful and are routinely proving they are better at putting power to the ground than any pickup in the market.

@leffie we (mostly, my wife) know a family with an #R1T I may ask. Same platform, basically, as an #R1S. We're worried about it fitting in the garage too. I told my wife to ask the guy if he could pull his truck into her garage spot, and to make sure he knows that's not a euphemism. (He is pretty good looking.)
