THE JOY OF BEING
AN IRRELEVANT OLD FART 💎I have been stripped of almost everything.
Even the body I once thought of as mine has been altered beyond recognition.
And yet, strangely, I have more than I could ever have imagined.
I don’t chase money anymore, and I have enough.
I do not chase health, and I experience more health and wellbeing than I once thought possible.
I do not chase sex, status, approval or achievement.
And because I am no longer chasing, life comes to me quietly and kindly.
Abundant health.
Abundant wealth.
Fairly continuous peace of mind.
And ease of practice.
The pursuit was what kept everything at a distance.
Now I am old, and no one is asking me to build a career, provide an identity, prove myself or become someone.
That is the great privilege of being an old man.
You get to become a monk again.
There is time.
There is space.
There is less interference.
Old age is usually presented as decline.
Pain.
Illness.
Loss.
A slow shutting down.
But at 70, that has not been my experience.
It has become a delightful place in which the spiritual practice I only feigned as a young man can now become real.
The world asks less of me now.
And because it asks less, I can listen more deeply.
I can reset.
I can “choose once again.”
I can allow kindness to become the law of the land.
Nothing is missing.
Nothing needs to be acquired.
“I need do nothing.”
The old man’s privilege is not that he has escaped life.
It is that life has finally become simple enough for him to see.

Годная машина на тему Windows AD, Kerberos. В начале разведки получаем доступ к гостевой шаре. Оттуда достаем файл с паролем, но не знаем от какой учетной записи. Проводим разведку юзеров, получаем список и находим 1 пользователя к которому подходит этот пароль. Далее проводим разведку с помощью BloodHound и по цепочке получаем доступ к нескольким аккаунтам у последнего есть права Unconstrained Delegation Privilege на доменный компьютер. С помощью механизма S4U2self, запрашиваем билет на имя администратора и захватываем компьютер.

Firefox irritations
The sponsored links enabled on the homescreen by default irritated me some odd days ago. I saw them when I checked a installation on a new Android installation, where I had disabled them, and was also very aware that I had only patched the Android versions accross all mobile, and X86 elf versions across desktop devices.
It was a deliberate design choice to reset certain settings, by the Firefox programmers.
They had also reset ffox DNS feature, parameters, which make no sense, since my ISP DNS is the closest and all my traffic is encrypted anywayAll those devices had that particular parameter reset {including some local LLM features}
I'm willing to bet that something similar also happened on BSD machines
I had to put the disclaimer for the language I used in that particular toot ;)
It is unfortunate that the forks also seem to get similar problems, just due to the sheer volume of changes that a massive project like Firefox brings with it.
I've said this decade ago and I repeat it
One person cannot write a massive undertaking which is called a browser but in reality is a whole operating system which should be in a sandbox
