What do we learn from this? Not forcing features on users goes a long way! Less is more indeed.

  2. Stretchly is a #foss cross-platform app that reminds you to take breaks when working on your computer. Available for Linux, macOS and Windows.

It lives in system tray, only displaying a reminder window from time to time.

By default, there's a 20 sec break every 10 mins and 5 mins break every 30 mins. It's encouraged to customise the break times using Preferences in the tray menu.

  10. Is this an unpopular opinion?

I hate smart content suggestions in content consumption apps like podcasts apps, spotify, news apps, youtube, my freaking xbox dashboard, you name it.

I much rather prefer apps that let me build my own lists, layouts and - in general - streams of information. With no way for them to roll algo dices and present me with a wall of distraction.

  12. @bonndigital @Sascha Gegen humane Formen des Angebotes spricht ja nichts. Ich glaube ihr wisst, was für eine Art von Agentur gemeint ist.

Behandle andere, wie du selbst behandelt werden willst.

    social value > individual value
    sustainable value > temporary value
    honesty is beautiful
    talk to humans, not consumers
    etc.
