I will say, the #HRRR and #GFS weather models have done quite good on the initial band of showers moving through southern #Idaho.

I've been watching the GFS weather model for the last 9 days, and I'm impressed. But I'm not always impressed ... sometimes it doesn't do very good at the 6-10 mark.

Hmm, I'm curious what the HRRR rain totals were saying for Kerr, Texas yesterday. They sometimes (but not always) highlight possible areas of extremely high rainfall rates. #wx #disaster #HRRR
