  15. Wow, the #SevenCabinsFire is taking off today in #NewMexico. IR imaging shows ~12,500 ac and chugging into the Capitan Mountains Wilderness within the #LincolnNationalForest.

    Extreme fire danger, current red flag warning with 20-30mph winds and fists to 50mph. The fire is burning through heavy dead and downed files from the 2004 Peppin and 2019 Pine Lodge fire scars.

    It looks like the IMT is throwing every hotshot crew they have in the area at the fire. This is just north west of the area that burned badly a few years ago, #Ruidoso.
