A 2023 bottle from the local, it’s lightly covered in dust and has aged well - remains rich with blueberry tartness and a thick chocolate body. A perfect cold weather treat.

55 and sunny 🌞 a beautiful fall day. Matching leaf colors with a #foundersbrewing Dirty Bastard scotch ale. Last of the pack I kept too long, a careful pour to keep the particulate in the bottle.
Caramel, raisin and cherry fruits with a malty finish.

From 84 yesterday to 64 tomorrow for the high temp, fall is nigh! Is it Blueberry season yet? Of course it is!
#foundersBrewing KBS Blueberry bourbon barrel-aged imperial #stout is wonderfully rich with tart blueberry and chocolate and vanilla notes. Perhaps my favorite fruited stout.

Temps popped to 94 and humidity to 77% for a feels-like of 104+! Go to the Fair?

Sadly I’d have let it stay in the bottle. Not a well-blended chocolate and hazelnut flavor, sharp edges and bitter flavors leave an unbalanced finish. Sweet but not pleasant. Not one of the better varieties.

Cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla and a hint of bourbon snap on the finish. Light carbonation and a touch of coffee.

Chocolate and nutty flavors don’t blend as well as one would hope, leaving a finish that has a burnt note to it. Sweet and only a hint of coffee. Was happy to find & try it, but not one of their better varietals.

#stoutSaturday with #foundersBrewing #adventureSeries Porter
A dark pour and tan head, hints of coffee and chocolate in the nose. Coffee and a hint of sweet with a slight bitter finish (45IBU). The label speaks of graham crackers but I don’t taste it.
A good #porter but I’ll stick with KBS and Backwoods Bastard.

Had a vendor take my department out to #StanfordGrill in Columbia, #Maryland this evening. While it's mainly a wine and cocktail joint, I was pleasantly surprised they had #FoundersBrewing #Porter on draft. #CraftBeer
