  2. #WomensSports is starting to get the attention it deserves. I've seen how much of a struggle it's been to give #femaleAthletes the parity they deserve. Recent cultural moments in #womenssoccer, the #WNBA, #WomensRugby, + the #Olympics highlight the need for better #sponsorship representation; they present legitimate and lucrative opportunities for brands who decide to thoughtfully sponsor and enable female athletic endeavors.

  3. This is “Ro Ro Wreck Your Bout.” For a few years I had the pleasure of being her soccer coach. She was one of the best players I’ve ever had on my teams.

She recently got into roller derby and invited me to see her bout. It was so awesome. She’s an absolute beast. A brutal jammer.

And this sport is a great confidence builder for girls. It’s a place where they can realize their power and personality. I’m a new fan.
