I have been trying to design a logo for FediCon.

It's not visually distinct, in fact it looks like a child's remix of the peertube logo to be a claw or something. It took multiple viewings of the various versions shown to even realize that it may be supposed to be a stylized F. The :fediverse: version may not be "the best" logo, but it's already widely distributed and recognizable in most contexts. When searching for "fediverse" on several image databases I get many returns for this one but none for your "origami" version. In fact I've never seen this logo before today! So I really must ask who the heck your "everyone" is? -

We produced How-To-Draw for the #fediverseIcon.
It was produced completely without measurements and somehow we produced it at #A4 (1mm off — ie. 211mm rather than 210). We produced it for the web anyway — so don't even think about #printing it!

Pleased to announced v3.Something wasn't sitting right. A friend we miss, Freed Creative, said rounded edges suit fedi better, we went and tried that and it solved our annoyance. Also improved the colours of 'party' version, and shapes generally.
Now also with both an on-light and on-dark sticker.

More chilled, subtle brown, fixed the green (decided against exact fedivert), shorted the green base so the icon is slightly more square (does make it more clear).
