Over the weekend we stopped at a local used game shop and they had a New 2DS XL sitting in the display case for $300 beside a black Vita for $240 and a pair of PSPs for $210 each.
The secondhand market for handhelds is an absolute mess right now.

God I wish they'd some day fix the issue with the Steam Deck / SteamOS notification bell. I love my SD OLED, but that bug is driving me nuts!
Basically there is no way to disable the "friend is online" notifications that trigger the notification bell icon at the top of the screen. You can only change the toast and sound options. Toasts are NOT the same thing; they only affect the stuff that pops up on the screen during gameplay.

This week I’ve wrapped both Dispatch and Xenoblade Chronicles. Both fantastic and completely different games.
Dispatch was a phenomenal (iykyk) story experience and I’m already planning my second and third playthrus.
I’m a little disappointed that I waited so long to play Xenoblade. I don’t often throw the word “masterpiece” around…
I still have a Veilguard run going on desktop that I’m taking my time with, and I’ve started both Tales of Arise and Dragon Quest XI on handheld.
We’ll see which I end up sticking with, if either…

Can't wait to get the 1tb SD card in this puppy so I can scrape some box art and commit to some save files.
I suppose I could get cloud syncing set up so my save files can transfer between my #RetroidPocket and my #Anbernic. I've just never had the spoons to try it.
I could probably mount my NAS and VPN while I'm at it so I can access my entire collection.
God these #Rocknix #handhelds are a fun can of worms!
