fyi the designer also made a new :butterfedyC: fediverse emoji :p :butterfedy1: :butterfedy2: :butterfedy3: , which would help to make fedi more mainstream friendly, but it looks like the original designer lost interest in fediverse and disappeared.... they were complaining about the large cdns. anyway....

....i only did the coloring, i think this :butterfedyC: could be invoked with :fediemoji: to leave the legacy :fediverse: :'fediverse': emoji intact for the foreseeable future??? btw @eichkat3r , I was searching the interwebs for fediverse emoji and found u, you may b into this and the above peertube post also. (maybe the peertube, line-style ones need a slightly thicker line to match these fedi emoji??)

The redundant red (fedi icons) are still on our page too :/

For those interested, recently we produced a standard #PeertubeIcon set that works alongside a #fediverseIcon. Most people who have a #Peertube presence also have a #microblogging presence, so the red fedi icons currently at https://git.disroot.org/fediOrigami/fediOrigami will be removed and replaced with Peertube #iconography, both red and orange.

As pictured.

Stuff just needs to be put into the git well-presented and pushed — but hours… :)

Of the #PeertubeIcons, everyone prefers to replace YT with the icons on the left side of that image. It seems people like a seperation between 'video' fediverse and 'micro-blog' fedi, 'tootally' predictable, haha.

With people apparently leaving a particular CloudGlare'd instance, and with some moving to non-Masto instances #Friendica, #FireFish and #Akkoma, we thought we'd remind that a 100% usable Fediverse icon exists.

The best part is you'll never see it on #Wikipedia, because they are politically motivated, racist, block Tor, assumed we didnt have #graphicDesign skills to be the true author, and other goalpostShifts, to hold back fediverse.

We produced How-To-Draw for the #fediverseIcon.

It was produced completely without measurements and somehow we produced it at #A4 (1mm off — ie. 211mm rather than 210). We produced it for the web anyway — so don't even think about #printing it!

Something wasn't sitting right. A friend we miss, Freed Creative, said rounded edges suit fedi better, we went and tried that and it solved our annoyance. Also improved the colours of 'party' version, and shapes generally.

Now also with both an on-light and on-dark sticker.

More chilled, subtle brown, fixed the green (decided against exact fedivert), shorted the green base so the icon is slightly more square (does make it more clear).

Today we learned first-hand, that #Wikipedia discriminates against artists based on political beliefs. They have no integrity.

They've now #activelyDeleted all our #artwork and contributions towards the #fediverse, insofar as our contributions to a modern #fediverseIcon, #sticker designs and graphics for #designers.

This is sick.

This is a call out to all webmasters to help us serve the content, we can email it, you can choose to share it.
